Natural brand photography with Susan Ryrie Therapies

Capturing photos for a new website that features horses and dogs. It has to be a natural photography experience.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Susan Ryrie, a musculoskeletal therapist working with humans, dogs and horses. Susan was having a new website designed and wanted to include some imagery that really reflected her and her business. Seeking real beauty – natural photography for a healthier, happier world

With a continuing increase of children and adults spending more and more time on social media, a world of false imagery has exploded with people unable to identify what is real beauty and what is highly edited and false imagery.

It is common for people to over edit their photos, alter the background, spend a long time perfecting (in their eyes) an image before then posting this image online.

However, is this image then perceived by the audience as beautiful?

Surely if the image doesn’t truly reflect who you are then there is no “real” connection with the viewer….? What do you think?

Five simple tips to capture beautiful photos of your family in 2021

Here I am sharing five simple tips to create beautiful, natural and fun photos of your family in 2021. With more time at home this year and more quality time with the kids, why not capture your everyday moments and cherish those memories. Here’s a few simple tips to help you.

How can a seasonal approach to brand imagery help you?

I work with nature loving, eco conscious individuals who are looking to make a positive difference to our world. I help you capture your true essence and being amongst nature. I help you capture yourself at your most natural. I help you connect naturally with your clients through beautiful nature inspired imagery. I help you feel at ease, re-connect with yourself and share your inspiring story with others. You can work me by booking a nature inspired branding session and see and feel the instant benefits for yourself and your business or you can commit to a seasonal approach to brand photography and grow your business through beautiful inspiring imagery all year round.

Here’s my top reasons why you should take the leap and embrace the seasons with me.

Showcasing the human side of your team and business – “I want to capture each individual’s personality”

Darren Evans wanted a photographer who could capture each member of his team uniquely, creatively and naturally. As a business focussed on making a positive impact within the construction industry and encouraging others to create a more sustainable built environment, it was important that the images connected with their ideal client and Darren was very clear that he believed that there is more to a person than just a headshot. Darren wanted personality. He wanted his team to feel valued and recognised as individuals and to have each persons passion and unique character shine through. This was the project and I was over the moon to be the photographer chosen to take on the challenge.

Where will your family visit first after lockdown? Five of our family favourites near Bristol

I have been dreaming this week. Dreaming of the day that we are able to get out and visit places once again. So I thought, I’d ask the boys where their favourite family places are. This is what we came up with.

These are a few of our favourite family trips where we love to visit, meet friends, explore and have fun and of course my camera usually comes too. Where are your family favourites? I’d love to hear.

Let’s lift each other up through nature and photography for health and wellbeing

I wanted to share and celebrate with you the wonderful photos that have been captured in the online Connect and Create photography group. This is a space where we have been sharing our nature photos from our daily walks or garden and I have been setting a theme to help guide the photography each day.

It’s a bit of fun and it’s a lovely way to connect with one another and share the different colours out there that nature offers.

Embracing kindness and nature at this time for our health and wellbeing

Over the past week I have been reminded through many different shapes and forms that kindness should always be at the centre of everything that we do.

It is easy to be sidetracked and overwhelmed by the current interchanging environment but through kindness to ourselves and others we can remain positive, connected and grounded at this time.

Our mood is variable and I think that is it really important for us all to accept this changeable state with kindness.
