After England’s loss last week, I was due to write the weekly newsletter. I’d committed to writing weekly to the community since January 2021 and I couldn’t do it. I just couldn’t write the newsletter. I was tired, deflated and thoughtful.

Seeking real beauty – natural photography for a healthier, happier world

With a continuing increase of children and adults spending more and more time on social media, a world of false imagery has exploded with people unable to identify what is real beauty and what is highly edited and false imagery.

It is common for people to over edit their photos, alter the background, spend a long time perfecting (in their eyes) an image before then posting this image online.

However, is this image then perceived by the audience as beautiful?

Surely if the image doesn’t truly reflect who you are then there is no “real” connection with the viewer….? What do you think?

The power of a tree – the power of nature

This week I came across a blossom tree. A tree sparkling in the blue sky and shimmering with beautiful white blossom.

The sheer beauty of the blossom tree pulled me in. The little details were magical.

This soulful moment is what memories are made of.

Nature is good for your memory, boosts your mood, improves attention and boosts creativity. However I am asking you to look into your heart and ask yourself, do you really need this evidence? Do you already understand the true power of nature on your wellbeing? Can you feel it?
